Bridgewalk - Passivity ep

Bridgewalk's Passivity ep gives me hope in the creating
and craftsmanship of song and sound. Wistful, soulful,
and heartfelt, this effort from the one and only Corey
Surratt, was beyond my expectations.



Presented in a raw and seemingly intimate setting, this
effort captures the very essence that is great song writing.
Surrate seems to fully understand that one still has the
power to create music that really does take you away.

We're talking pen, paper, elbow grease, and pure talent.

This effort is not trying to sound like anything else but what
it is, which is the problem a lot of artists seem to be facing
with songwriting, but which Surratt seem to shrug off effortlessly.

It just feels pure and organic.
Making it MORE than just sound.
But making it an experience.
Making it art.

On songs like "For Better or Worse" and "quipster" you can hear the
sincerity in Surratt's voice. You hear it also on the lyrical adventure
you take on "before my death (tell of angria)"
